The third graders have been reading, researching, and experimenting about owls the past month. On May 10, the “Owl Man” and his feathered friends visited Lowell. The students were able to observe and learn about a red tailed hawk, barred owl, screech owl, and the great horned owl. During the presentation, the students witnessed an owl eating a mouse. EEEK! This was a great experience to end their unit about owls.
During the month of February the fourth graders practiced under the guidance of teachers Kyle Reeves and Eric Branch. The fourth graders practiced many challenging math problems to prepare for the Warren Township Math Bowl. During their competition, the Lowell team earned first place! Way to go Math Bowl Team!
