Students and staff were so excited to see each other the evening of July 20th. The Lowell staff toured their surrounding neighborhoods and greeted families with popsicles, backpacks, and school supplies. Everyone was laughing, hugging, and dancing to fun music. What an exciting night!!
Lowell was excited to have eight special visitors! The pre-k students from the Warren Early Childhood Center visited and toured the building. We are excited to see them again in July.
Roses are red, violets are blue… Third graders are learning about different types of poetry. Students learned to write poems about nature. What a better way to do it than writing outside on a beautiful day!
For students, one of the College and Career Ready standards’ most important new requirements is that correct answers alone will not be enough. Correct answers are very important, but along with them there is a new set of “mathematical practices” that teachers will expect from students. This is part of their preparation for 21st century jobs. More information>>>.
